Cancer New Moon - July 9th how to harness the magic

I would like to share how you can harness the magic of the New Moon by joining it with Astrology. So let's start with where the New Moon is. She is in the sign of Cancer. Cancer is ruled by the Moon so she is considered the Great Goddess archetype. You can use this New Moon time to plant general seeds of new beginnings for the month in a few ways. (1) You can take the general characteristics of Cancer and apply them to your life. (2)You can also add a layer to that by finding what house Cancer is in, in your chart. (3)Another dimension would be to add the other planetary placements that I will talk about to that area of your life. Cancer governs feelings, intuition, coming home, emotional stability & is the nurturer. Keeping it simple you could write down all the ways you can practice this month putting into place ways in which you can take your self nurturing to a higher level. Take time to go within to evaluate with your feelings; not the mind, what upgrades you need to make for emotional support and stability. Where do you need more balance; related to giving to yourself vs. others. Where are you willing to challenge those parts of you that "feel" less than loved. Remember feelings are just that, movable and flexible, so where can you tell a different story, a small subtle one, that could change the way you feel. Where can you open to a new perspective about what "home life could be". Listen and feel into ways you can better understand what excites and nurtures your soul. This is a time to feel & intuit, as it will give you the best insights. Now if you know where Cancer is placed in your chart, you can specifically apply it to that area of your life. For example, mine is in my house of career, so I get to fine tune these questions specific to that area of my life. Moving on...... taking into consideration the other planetary placements without making this an astrology lesson. Venus & Mars is just what you think it is and they are both in Leo who like any Lioness is the Queen of her world, wants what she wants, is playful, loves an audience, generous, loving, big-hearted. So now apply that to Venus who is deep safe Love & Mars who is action, energy, passion, sex. They are opposing Saturn which is about structure & stability. Think of opposing as a 4 corner stop; letting one go then the other. Giving us time to see where our values are with both, finding a middle ground. The good news is Saturn is in Aquarius, which is all about innovation, higher ground & purpose. Is your stability/job serving you or is it what others expect of you? Maybe there is a way to do/be with things/people and situations that allow you to do so on your own innovative terms. Feeling out what's correct for you with your values & a sense of what's important for you. The sun & moon are in conversation with Neptune, which rules spirituality and all things subtle. Some characteristics are inspiration, dreams, psychic abilities, illusion & receptivity. So now let's add to the story of how best to play with this Moon energy. "What stories for a better you, a more inspired you, and your life want more time in the sun? what soul dreams have you put on hold, closed down because of what you told yourself or others in society have told you to dim that fire? What psychically is coming through pertaining to living a life more in alignment with your spiritual self and values, and can you begin to take steps toward them simply on the intuitive information? Nows the time! Where can you put down some of the heavier story lines you have been thinking/feeling or living in your body? When you write about these new changes, think about creating strength, passion, balance, confidence and trust in your self. As you journal throughout the month, notice the internal messages and feelings as they begin to take on a different perspective, one which allows you to see new possibilities. Where can you trust your internal guidance system. Even if you don't know all that you want for the next 20 years, can you trust the impulses, the synchronicity, the small clues in front of you to work with neptune energy to go with the flow? Can you detach from the egoic level, & trust what you are feeling for yourself is valid? With any struggles or challenges while things are falling away or re-organizing themselves, be softer with yourself, everything in your life "right now" has been created, it started a long time ago. It takes a while for thought to manifest, so be light with yourself. You get to choose if you want to re-create that story or if you want to start rebuilding a new one. While Mars triggers anger, action, etc, and Venus is wanting to align with integrity, love & fairness, and doesn't want to settle for less, you may have to step back as they travel together committed to the conversation of what this new life will look like. Stand in your courage! (hear the lioness roar). Stay strong in breaking up the dialogue you want to give yourself at a deeper level of self. Define your boundaries so that you can choose balance in your life and with those you love. It's a time to birth a higher consciousness in the heart. As you soften, pay attention to what you have not listened to that your deeper self needs. Watch out for any defensiveness on either side of the fence that may come up. Sometimes its just keeping you small & over protected. Change is vulnerable. Surround yourself with the support you need. I am here to support you through your challenges.
