Q. Where you want to go to get your marriage license.
A. You can go anywhere in North Carolina, not just your particular county. You can also use your marriage license up to 60 days.
Q. Where do I get a certified copy of my marriage certificate.
A. https://wakerod.permitium.com/rod After your officiant files with the Register of Deeds you can get a copy. You will also be given instructions when applying for the Marriage license to submit payment and it will be mailed to you.
Q. How do I change my name legally.

Q. Who files the Marriage Certificate after all the signatures are obtained.
A. The Officiant does.
Q. How many witnesses do I need.
A. Not counting the Minister/Officiant you will need 2 witnesses over the age of 18.
